  • Diced tomatoes 4 cups
  • Black pepper 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red wine vinegar 1 tablespoon
  • Salt 1/3 teaspoon
  • Parsley flakes 1 teaspoon
  • Oregano flakes 1 teaspoon
  • Basil paste 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic paste 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil 1/4 cup

It’s super handy to have because no sugar added marinara can be tough to find at the store.

Method

  1. Cook the tomatoes alone on medium heat until very soft.
  2. Put tomatoes into blender.
  3. Add black pepper, red wine vinegar, salt, parsley flakes, oregano flakes, basil paste, garlic paste.
  4. Add 1/4 cup Olive Oil.
  5. Blend until smooth mixture.
  6. Pour into a saucepan then cook on low heat until mixture reaches desired thickness.
