Ingredients
- Baby spinach leaves 1 1/2 cups
- Basil leaves (fresh) 3/4 cup
- Garlic cloves (peeled and quartered) 4
- Kosher salt 3/4 tsp
- Pepper 1/2 tsp
- Fresh lemon (juiced) 1 tsp
- Lemon zest 1/2 tsp
- Olive oil (extra virgin) 1/2 cup
- Whole wheat pasta 1/2 lb

Method
- While pasta is cooking as per the instructions on the package, saute remaining ingredients in half the olive oil.
- Blend the spinach, basil, garlic, salt, pepper, lemon juice, lemon zest and 2 tbsp. olive oil in food processor until almost smooth, scrape the sides after pulses.
- Drizzle the remaining olive oil into the mixture while processing until smooth.
- Serve over whole-wheat pasta (Can substitute regular white/gluten free pasta, but nothing with nut flour).
