- Tomatoes (do not drain) 1. can (28 oz)
- Fresh basil (snipped) 3 tbsp
- Garlic (minced) 1 tsp.
- Olive oil 2 tbsp.
- Pasta (cooked) 8-12 oz.
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste

Method
- Place tomatoes in food processor or blender. Cover and process until smooth.
- Stir in basil; set aside. In a large skillet, cook garlic in hot oil over medium heat until lightly browned.
- Add tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
- Serve over hot cooked pasta. If desired, sprinkle with additional basil.
