- Juice from Lemons 2
- Rosewater 1/4 tsp
- Fresh pomegranate juice 1 cup
- Sugar 1 cup
- Crushed ice to serve
- Fresh mint sprigs to serve 8
- Mineral Water to serve

Method
- Put the lemon juice, rosewater, pomegranate juice, and sugar into a saucepan, stir, and cook over low heat until the sugar has dissolved.
- Increase the heat to medium-high, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Boiling sugar is extremely hot; handle with care and make sure it doesn’t simmer over.
- Let cool completely.
- Put some crushed ice into a tall glass.
- Pour a dash of the syrup over the ice and add a sprig mint, if using.
- Pour in mineral or sparkling water to taste, mix well, and serve.
- The syrup will keep in the refrigerator in a sealed container for three to four days.
