Ingredients
  • Garlic powder (to taste) 1/4 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil 3 tablespoons
  • Beef bouillon 1 cube
  • Hot water 1/2 cup
  • Onion (chopped) 1/2 cup
  • Soy sauce 3 tablespoons
  • Splenda (or 1 tsp stevia) 1 packet
  • Pepper to taste
  • Tomatoes (stewed with liquid) 1 can (14.5 ounce)
  • Green and or red bell peppers (cut in strips) 2 large
  • Salt (as soy and bouillon cube contain salt so suggested low salt to taste
  • Beef sirloin (cut into 2 inch strips,suggested pre-cut beef strips ) 2 pounds
  • Cauliflower paste (to thicken,recipe given in tip section) 1 cup

Method

  1. Sprinkle strips of sirloin with garlic powder to taste.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the vegetable oil and brown the seasoned beef strips.
  3. Transfer to a slow cooker. Mix bouillon cube with hot water and cauliflower paste.
  4. Pour into the slow cooker with meat. Stir in onion, stewed tomatoes, soy sauce, Splenda, and salt.
  5. Add peppers two hours before done.
  6. Cover, and cook on High for 3 to 4 hours, or on Low for 6.
