Ingredients
  • Fresh mushrooms 8 oz
  • Onions (chopped) 4 small
  • Olive oil 2 tbsp
  • Flour 3 tbsp
  • Vegetable broth 2 cups
  • Heavy whipping cream 1 cup
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper 1/4 tsp
  • Nutmeg 1/4 tsp

Method

  1. Cut the mushrooms into slices.
  2. Take olive oil in large frying pan. Add in onions, and mushrooms. Cook until onions are soft.
  3. Blend in 2 tbsp flour and stir.
  4. Add in chicken broth and heat until slightly thickened while stirring frequently.
  5. Stir in milk with additional 1 tbsp flour and seasonings.
  6. Add in milk to soup. Heat to thicken while stirring frequently.
