Ingredients
  • Pork rinds 1 cup
  • Almond flour 1 1/3 cup
  • Unflavored protein powder 4 tbsp
  • Pink salt 1 tsp
  • Onion powder 1 tsp
  • Garlic powder 1 tsp
  • Cavender’s Greek seasoning 1 1/2
  • Dry basil 1 tbsp
  • Dry oregano 1 tbsp
  • Eggs 2
  • Vegetable oil 2 cups
  • String cheese

Note:  This breading is great for fried mushrooms, zucchini, meat or anything else you’ve been craving to go with a P meal.

Pair them with ranch or a no sugar added marinara sauce.

Method

  1. Smash unseasoned pork rinds into fine powder. Pour about 1 cup into bowl.
  2. Mix all dry ingredients.
  3. Take half piece of sting cheese and dip in egg, then roll in breading.
  4. Set aside for 5 minutes.
  5. Dip them in eggs and roll them in breading one more time.
  6. Freeze for about an hour.
  7. Heat up vegetable or olive oil (medium heat).
  8. Fry on both sides until golden brown, (1-2 minutes/side).
