Method

  1. Heat oil in large sauteĢ pan over high heat until it begins to shimmer.
  2. Add onions and cook over high heat for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes, until they turn dark golden brown.
  3. Remove from heat and season with salt to taste.
  4. Stored in a covered container in the refrigerator, Caramelized Onions will keep for up to 2 days.
