  • Ice 1 lb.
  • water 2 gallons
  • Salt
  • Fresh spinach 1 lb.

For A Delicious Dinner!

Method

  1. Mix ice and 1 gallon of water in large bowl. Set aside
  2. Pour remaining gallon of water into large pot.
  3. Add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil. Submerge spinach in the boiling water and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Drain the spinach and immediately submerge it in ice water.
  5. Let cool completely.
  6. Reheat spinach gently when ready to use.
