Ingredients
  • Ground pork (mince) 1 lb.
  • Roasted peppers rinsed & (chopped) 1/2 cup
  • Fresh coriander or cilantro 1/3 cup
  • Ground cumin 1 tsp
  • Chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • Onion powder 1/2 tsp
  • Sea salt 1/2 tsp
  • Juice from one small lime
  • Toppings — tomato, onions, pickles, etc.

NOTE: These burgers can be made a day ahead and refrigerated until ready to cook.

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix until well combined. Form mixture into 3-4 equal sized burger patties.
  2. Grill. Preheat the grill. Grill burgers on each side about 7-10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees and meat is no longer pink in the center.
  3. Pan Fry and Heat 1 tbsp oil over medium-high heat. Cook burgers on each side about 5-7 minutes until cooked.
  4. Add toppings of choice and enjoy, Done!
