  • Flour (unbleached) 1 ¼ cup
  • Oats (rolled) 1 cup
  • Brown sugar (packed) ½ cup
  • Cocoa (unsweetned) ⅓ cup
  • Baking powder 1 tbsp
  • Baking soda ¼ tsp
  • Bananas (ripe, smashed) 1 cup
  • Vanilla almond milk ⅓ cup
  • Margarine (melted) 5 ⅓ tbsp
  • Vanilla 1 tsp

These muffins are so simple to make & will hit the spot when it comes to those chocolate cravings!


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In one bowl mix together flour, oats, brown sugar, unsweetned cocoa, baking powder, and baking soda.
  3. Mix together and set aside.
  4. In another bowl mix together bananas, almond milk, margarine, and vanilla.
  5. Mix together.
  6. Add wet mixture to dry mixture and stir until just moistened. DO NOT OVER MIX
  7. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups.
  8. Bake 20-25 minutes at 400 degrees or until toothpick comes out clean.
