Ingredients
- Country cured ham 1 (10-14 pounds)
- Whole garlic clove 1
- Hot water 6 cups
- Apple cider vinegar 1 cup
- Worcestershire sauce 1 Tbsp
- Bay leaves 2

Method
- Gently wash the ham under running water. Pat dry and score skin into diamond shapes.
- Place a whole clove in each diamond. Insert meat thermometer into meaty part of ham, being careful not to touch fat or bone.
- Place ham, fat side up, in large roasting pan with cover. Use heavy-duty aluminium foil to make a cover if necessary.
- In a large bowl, combine water, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce; pour over the ham.
- Place bay leaves in liquid. Bake at 325 for 20 minutes per pound or to an internal temperature of 160.
- Bake uncovered for the last 30 minutes.
