- Sliced apples 6 cups
- Lemon juice 2 tbsps
- White sugar 1 cup
- Brown sugar 1 cup
- Cinnamon 1 tsp
- Nutmeg 1 tsp
- salt 1 pinch
- All purpose flour 1/3 cup
- Sliced butter half stick
- Egg 1

Less carb/sugar heavy version of Apple Pie.
Method
- Peel and slice apples.
- Add 2 tbsps lemon juice, 1 cup white sugar, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp nutmeg, pinch of salt, 1/3 cup all purpose flour then mix.
- Pile the apples into an unbaked pie crust.
- Add half stick of sliced butter then cover it with pie crust, pinch the edges and slightly score the pie crust.
- Lightly brush the top of the crust with egg.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
