  • All-purpose flour 1 cup
  • Salt 1/2 tbsp
  • Shortening 1/2 cup
  • Ice Water 1/2 cup

Method

  1. Max 1 cup all-purpose flour and 1/2 tbsp. of salt.
  2. Add 1/2 cup of shortening ice water and mix.
  3. Slowly add 1/2 cup of ice water and mix.
  4. Dust counter and pie crust with flour to avoid sticking.
  5. Roll pie crust 1.5 inches larger than your pie dish.
  6. Using some of thumb and two fingers to pinch the crust along the edge of the dish.
  7. Poke some holes with a fork.
  8. Fill with desired pie filling and bake.
